LPGA-USGA Girls Golf of East Canton
LPGA-USGA Girls Golf of East Canton is part of a national, year-round program that provides an excellent opportunity for young ladies to build lasting friendships and experience competition in a fun and supportive environment. Girls will learn values inherent to the game of golf such as practice, respect, perseverance, honesty and preparing to meet today's challenges with confidence. High School & Middle School Girls Workshop
This half day on workshop is a fantastic opportunity for high school girls to work on both the technical and mental aspects of the game. We'll cover a variety of topic including:
- Mental Approach
- How to Practice
- Course Management
- Club Selection
- Reading Greens
- Short Game Strategy
This year's clinic will be held on Tuesday, June 12.
PGA Jr. League brings family and friends together with fun and team golf experiences with expert coaching from PGA and LPGA Professionals. Kids will play on teams with friends, wear numbered jerseys and compete in a two-person scramble format. All kids will learn together from PGA and LPGA Professionals in a community-centered environment that engages both friends and family. Open to children of all backgrounds ages 13 & under. This year we're excited to begin our PGA H.O.P.E program for male military veterans. All male veterans with a military-related injury are welcome to join. No previous golf experience is required. All eras and branches of service are welcome to participate. For six weeks veterans will learn the ins-and-outs of the game through fun and camaraderie. Our first meet and greet will take place on Monday, May 14th, at 5:30 p.m. Hope to you there.
