Join us for the Clearview Legacy Foundation Dinner at the Pro Football Hall of Fame as we celebrate Clearview's 80th anniversary.

Franco Harris Clearview LPGA Pro-Am
Put your skills to the test on Clearview's iconic course along with LPGA Tour professionals and other celebrity athletes. End the day with a luncheon and awards ceremony. The five-person scramble includes a celebrity with each foursome.

24th Pioneer Golf Tournament recognizing William Powell
Created by the late Jesse Brooks, a former air traffic controller, and former John Deere engineer, Ron Fuller, who in 2002 sought a way to honor Clearview founder William Powell. This event attracts golfers from all over the country.
July 4
Clearview Veterans Golf Outing
A tradition at the only Northern Ohio PGA facility to host both PGA HOPE (for men) and Clearview HOPE (for women), the country's only cost free and year-round women's veterans golf program.

National Black Golf Hall of Fame in 2026 celebrates its 40th anniversary while Clearview celebrates its 80th anniversary. A golf outing prior to the actual inductions which will take place in 2027 with Clearview GC being inducted.

Wilberforce and Northern Ohio Alumni Golf Outing
The first golf match ever played in the United States between a historic black college and a white college took place in 1937 between Wilberforce and Ohio Northern. William "Bill" Powell and his brother Berry were members of the Wilberforce team. In 2002, sixty-five years later, a historic rematch was held at Clearview, with Bill Powell — the only living member of the Wilberforce team — joined by Judge Joe Malone, the only living member of the Ohio Northern team.

The “Home of Golf” and “America’s Course” Invitational
Celebrating the bridge between St Andrews and historic Clearview for a one-of-a-kind gathering. Honorary Member of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews (R&A), Renee Powell, invites golfers from the Kingdom of Fife and the United States to share in both the centuries-old history of St Andrews and Clearview’s 80-year legacy.

The Historic Links Along the Historic Lincoln Highway Outing
A fun 4-person, 18-hole scramble.
Many of the awards for this outing come from businesses along the famous Lincoln Highway — the only coast-to-coast highway in America. Over 100 years ago, General Eisenhower organized the first convoy to travel the Lincoln Highway, starting in Washington, D.C., and ending in San Francisco.

Play golf with legends in this popular gathering of athletes from across professional sports in its 41st year.

Women of Steel Outing
Hosted by Women of Steel workers representing The Timken Company, this scramble is open to male and female participants to benefit Clearview HOPE women veterans.

Black College Hall of Fame Tournament
Black College Hall of Fame Golf Tournament, hosted by the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Meet Hall of Fame players from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).

Marcella Powell 4-Lady Scramble
Marcella Powell 4-Lady Scramble on the 12th, preceded by an exciting Golf School for Women on 11th.
September 19-20
Hickory Golf Outing
The Hickory Golf Outing is presented by Tri-State Hickory Golf, with historic artifacts on display for viewing and purchase.

Fairways of Opportunities
The Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) has created the Larry Powell Scholarships for young people from underrepresented communities. This program provides opportunity to learn about the most important aspect of golf — course maintenance — explore the history of Clearview, and help raise funds for the Larry Powell Scholarships.

Fall Festival Chili Open
Food, Fun and Golf! Celebrate the end of our season, started by William Powell and a close friend and staffer. Enjoy one or more bowls of chili, take advantage of all the amenities, and win prizes. It is a perfect time to enjoy the autumn colors and our dad’s favorite season of the year.
